CLUBS:
KEY CLUB: We will be meeting in the PAC during Tiger Time on Wednesday. Going to decide our Fall
service projects and pumpkin carving. We will have snacks & raffle!
NEWS:
HOMECOMING: Royalty Voting is now open. Log in to student access, check your grades and follow the
directions and vote! Voting closes next Wed. Do you want a tux for Homecoming? Men’s Warehouse
Tuxedo (next to Starbucks) is offering $50 off tux rentals to B-EHS students. Reserve yours today.
FALL PLAY CREW: Students interested in being crew members for the fall play need to report to the
PAC right after school next Tuesday, Sept. 22nd, for a meeting and planning session. To participate,
don't forget to turn in your eligibility packet to the Athletic/Activities Office. See Mrs. Wood in room 417
with questions.
GRAD NIGHT: All Seniors should tell your parents that there will be a Grad Night Planning meeting in
the library tonight, September 21st at 7pm. Grad Night is a fun night for seniors and it is important for
your parents to be a part the planning.
PAWS ADVISORY COUNCIL: If you are interested in being on the PAWS advisory council, stop by the
career center and sign up with Ms. Fiker. We'd love to have you, and it's a great way to contribute to
your school.
PICTURE DAY: If you missed having your picture taken before school started, O’Connor Photography
will be here again today, September 21st. They will be set up in the PAC during both lunches.
VOLUNTEER: The Burlington-Edison Youth Soccer Club is looking for volunteers for this Saturday,
September 19th to work at their U9 soccer jamboree in Burlington.
PUYALLUP FAIR: We have free fair tickets available to students. The fair runs from September 11-27th.
Please go by the main office to pick yours up.
SENIORS: If you would like your senior photo in the yearbook to be different than the one you took on
picture day, the deadline to submit your photo to yearbook is Friday, October 30th. Please refer to the
email or letter sent home for details on how to submit your photo. The October 30th deadline must be
met in order to guarantee that your photo will be included. This deadline is for senior photos only--the
deadline for Grad Ads is different.
SCHOLARSHIPS:
The American College Foundation's Visionary Scholarship is now open. This scholarship is available for All
high school students (9th- 12th). If selected, you could receive up to $5000 to go towards your cost of
higher post-secondary education. To apply, go online to be.wednet.edu/scholarship or under the student
tab of our high school's website.

Seniors! Receive up to $22,000 for college ~ The Horatio Alger Scholarship application is now open. Go
