Manufacturing Intern
Description
AGET Manufacturing, a growing business that has long been part of the Adrian community, is
looking for an intern to join our production team working to develop, manufacture, fabricate, and
assemble our industrial equipment for a wide variety of companies and industries. We are
looking for a driven intern, interested in learning about the manufacturing industry, to train and
participate in many different areas of manufacturing and production. The interns hired for this
position should expect to learn multiple facets of manufacturing, and will leave this position with
valuable skills and industry knowledge.
Responsibilities

Assistant to shear, bending, welding, paint, and assembly group leaders.
Various projects related to operations.
Reading and interpretation of manufacturing drawings.
Training on manufacturing processes.
Training in core area of study.
Requirements
Applicants should be eager, driven, focused, hard-working individuals that are ready to assist a
growing company with heavy production demands. He or she should be willing to learn and be
taught skills from experienced members of the production team. The individual should be selfmotivated and interested in adding value and making a difference within an organization.

● 3D Design and Automation
● Advanced Manufacturing (Welding, Industrial Systems, or Manufacturing Design)

Job Type
● Part-time (20-30 hours per week)
Hourly Rate
● 10-12 dollars an hour
