ACEC – American Council of Engineering Companies of Oregon – Scholarship Code 371: Awarded to students who plan to pursue a degree
in chemical, civil, electrical, industrial, or mechanical engineering at OIT, OSU, PSU, University of Portland, or George Fox University. Must have a
minimum GPA 3.3 with SAT1800+ or ACT 28+. FAFSA not required, not based on need. Award automatically renewable, if renewal criteria met.
Essay required.
Ahmad – Ahmad-Sehar Saleha Ahmad and Abrahim Ekramullah Zafar Foundation – Scholarship Code 288: Scholarship for senior girls with a
minimum GPA of 3.8 who plan to major in English. Must attend an Oregon 4-year public and nonprofit only. FAFSA is required, based on financial
need. Automatically renewable if renewal criteria met.
Allcott/Hunt Share it Now II, Honoring Emory and Elisabeth Burkett Hunt – Scholarship Code 473: First or second-generation immigrants to
the US are eligible for this scholarship. FAFSA is not required, but recommended- financial need may or may not be considered. Essay and two
community or school references (not letters) required.
Benj. Franklin-Edith Green – Scholarship Code 65: Students must plan to attend an Oregon 4-year public university. Minimum GPA of 3.45.
FAFSA is required, based on financial need.
Bennett – Eugene Bennett for the Visual Arts – Scholarship Code 254: High school graduates, including GED and homeschooled graduates of
Jackson County can apply for this scholarship. Minimum GPA 2.75. Plan on a visual art major, including graphic arts and fine arts, but not
performing arts. FAFSA is required, based on financial need.
Black Tail Deer – Oregon Foundation for Black Tail Deer – Scholarship Code 256: Applicants must attend an Oregon public or nonprofit college
with a major in forestry, biology, wildlife science, or related fields indicating serious commitment to careers in wildlife management. FAFSA is
required, based on financial need. Essay is required. If you are selected as a semifinalist you will be required to submit a copy of your previous
year’s hunting license.
Bodley – Royden M. Bodley – Scholarship Code 274: Earned rank of Eagle Scout in Boy Scouts of America Cascade Pacific Council. Must
attend an Oregon public or nonprofit college planning to major in Forestry, wildlife conservation, environment, or related fields. FAFSA is required,
based on financial need.
Campbell – Dorothy Campbell Memorial – Scholarship Code 142: Senior girls that have participated in the high school golf team and plan to
attend an Oregon 4-year public and nonprofit college. Minimum GPA 2.75. FAFSA is required, based on financial need. Automatically renewable if
renewal criteria met. Essay required.
Campbell – W.C. and Pearl Campbell – Scholarship Code 170: Graduating seniors of Oregon high schools with SAT of 1220+ combined math
and critical reading scores or ACT 27+. FAFSA required, based on financial need. Minimum GPA 3.85.
Chafee Education and Training Grant: Assists foster youth with the transition to self-sufficiency by providing funding for the education, training,
and services needed to obtain employment. Eligible applicants complete a separate application on the OSAC site. Must have been in foster care for
at least 6 months after the age of 14. Awards are up to $4,000 per year. For more information: www.osac.state.or.us./chafeeetv.html. Must
complete FAFSA.
Clark-Phelps – Scholarship Code 213: Graduating seniors who plan to major in nursing and attend a 4-year public college in Oregon with
preference given to the OHSU program at EOU, SOU, and OIT. FAFSA required, based on financial need. Apply and compete annually.
Crawford – Ida M. Crawford – Scholarship Code 172: Open to graduates Oregon accredited high schools. Not open to law, medicine, music or
theology majors or US Bank employees or their children. FAFSA required, based on financial need. Minimum GPA 3.5 . Apply and compete
annually.
Dream – Former Foster Youth – Scholarship Code 442: Applicant must meet one of the following criteria: 1) Applies for and qualifies for the
Chafee Educational and Training Grant, or 2) was adopted from foster care between the ages of 14 and 16. FAFSA is required, based on financial
need. Apply and compete annually.
Ford Scholars – Scholarship Code 1: Oregon residents must attend an accredited public or private nonprofit Oregon college or university and
show financial need. Minimum 3.0. For more details see www.tfff.org.

Glenn and Juanita Struble II – Scholarship Code 388: Student who will enroll full time at a public, or nonprofit college with a major in visual or
performing arts, business management (preference for those wanting to own a business), or mechanical engineering (preference for manufacturing
career). Minimum GPA 3.0+. FAFSA required, based on financial need. Apply and compete annually.
Holmes – Alan B. Holmes Memorial Scholarship – Scholarship Code 87: Scholarship is available to Jackson County High Schools students who
have participated in Golf. FAFSA is not required. Not based on financial need. Prior recipients may compete annually. Essay required.
Jackson Foundation Journalism – Scholarship Code 239: Students planning to attend an Oregon, public or nonprofit college with a major or
emphasis in journalism. Preference given to students with a good SAT essay score. FAFSA required, based on financial need. Apply and compete
annually.
Morse – Wayne Morse Legacy – Scholarship Code 589: Graduates of AHS, GED recipients, and homeschooled graduates that are citizens of the
US and plan to attend an Oregon public or nonprofit college are eligible to apply. FAFSA required-financial need may or may not be considered.
Minimum GPA 2.8. Essay required. Go to www.waynemorse.org for information. Apply – compete for additional year.
Olsrud – Sherman and Wanda Olsrud – Scholarship Code 378:- Graduating seniors (including GED and homeschooled seniors) who plan to
attend an Oregon, public or nonprofit college with a minimum GPA of 2.5-3.75. FAFSA is required-based on financial need. Prior recipients may
apply and compete annually.
Oregon OSHA – Oregon Occupational Safety & Health Division Workers Memorial – Scholarship Code 113: is available to dependent
students of an Oregon worker who has been permanently disabled or received a fatal injury while working for an Oregon employer. FAFSA requiredfinancial need may or may not be considered. Essay required. Additional requirement-see website.
Oregon Scholarship Fund – SC 901 – CC Student Award Programs: Students enrolled at least half-time at an Oregon Community College.
FAFSA required, award based on financial need. Awardees may compete for additional year.
Roy – William and Ruth Roy – Scholarship Code 409: Graduates (including GED and home-schooled graduates) who want to pursue an
engineering degree at Portland State University or Oregon State University. GPA of 2.75+. Preference given to first generation college students.
FAFSA is required - based on financial need. Apply and compete annually.
Schmidt – Walter and Marie Schmidt – Scholarship Code 136: Students enrolling in a 2-year college program to become a registered nurse and
intending to pursue a career in geriatric health. FAFSA is required-based on financial need. US Bank employees and dependents are not eligible.
Apply-compete annually. Essay required.
Southern Oregon Architects – Scholarship Code 579: Students planning to major in Architecture at any 4-year or non-profit college. Must have
taken the SAT or ACT. Students must file a FAFSA, but financial need is not required. Preference for a 2 nd year award is given to prior year
recipients.
Stenzel – Franz Stenzel M.D. and Kathryn Stenzel – Scholarship Code 304: Graduating seniors (including GED and home-schooled seniors) that
plan to pursue a major in medicine (pre-med, nursing, or physician’s assistant) with a GPA of 2.75+. FAFSA required, based on financial need.
Automatically renewable if renewal criteria met.
Straw – Judy Straw Memorial – Scholarship Code 220: Graduating seniors who have participated in 4-H, FFA, or related agricultural experience.
FAFSA required, but financial need may or may not be considered.
Watson Nursing – Scholarship Code 429: Graduates planning on a nursing career with preference given to students who attend the OHSU
nursing program at SOU. FAFSA required-based on need. Apply and compete annually.
