Training Title:
SEMINAR WORKSHOP ON DIGITAL CURATION OF LOCAL KNOWLEDGE
ARTIFACTS
Training
Description:
This seminar-workshop is intended for local knowledge advocates from member
AUDRN institutions who are tasked to curate artifacts in their academic or social
community through digital tools. This two-day workshop is designed to trace the stage
workflow associated with digital artifacts curation from acquiring it, representing it
with metadata, making it accessible via a database-driven artifacts museum site; and
thus ensuring its long-term preservation. The final output of the workshop will enable
participants to provide seed content to the existing AUDRN Artifacts Museum site.
Participants to this workshop will eventually be appointed as the digital curators for
their own institution in relation to AUDRN initiatives.
