AUTUMN FAIR
Thank you all so much for your kind donations for
the Autumn Fair, all the prizes you sent in and
cakes you baked. This is the biggest Fundraising
Event in our school calendar and we are
enormously grateful for your generosity and
coming along to spend your money! This year’s fair
has raised a whopping £2003.79– the most we have
ever raised! A huge thank you to Mrs Hill who
takes on the majority of the organisation for the
fair and the dedicated volunteers who have spent
hours supporting her.
DALESTORTH IN TOP 600 SCHOOLS
It was announced in the Sunday Times last
Weekend that Dalestorth Primary is ranked 456th in
the country’s top 600 schools
INSET DAY
Don’t forget school is closed on Monday (30th
November) for INSET Training. All the staff are
having MAPA Physical Intervention Training
followed by training on the New School Assessment
Tracking System.
NUTS
Just a reminder that we are a NUT FREE ZONE in
school as we have two people with severe nut
allergies. Please do not send your child with any
nuts or nut products such as peanut cereal bars etc.
Many thanks.
SCHOOL GATE
In order to improve our Safeguarding organisation,
the school gate will not be opened until 8:30am.
This is largely due to dark wet mornings. We don’t
want children being dropped off early and
unsupervised. The gate will open at 8:30am and
there will now be a staff member on duty at this
time. If you need to drop your child off earlier,
please use our Breakfast Club.
