Essendon Ladies Hockey Club is a small and very successful

advertisement
Essendon Ladies Hockey Club is a small and very successful community-based club with
many junior players expected to register in 2014.
We have no paid staff and all that we achieve is the result of significant volunteer efforts,
especially by our players’ parents, as well as a small number of senior and vets players.
Barb and Keith have again offered to assist with the ELHC Underage (juniors) section of the
club, but we need some more helpers in 2014 as their work commitments take them all over
the state and country.
We ask for your involvement – there are lots of ways to help out – you can be a Ball person
coordinator, Canteen coordinator, Training night coordinator, Gala Day coordinator, Zone
Coordinator, Junior Social Coordinator or the New Player Welcoming officer, Team
managers, Team first aiders
Is 2014 the year that you will put up your hand to help us? We certainly hope so – because
the more people who become actively involved, the more the tasks are shared.
Your children will love you to be involved and you will enhance your enjoyment of their
hockey and life around our great club. You don’t need to be a hockey player yourself or to
know a lot about hockey either – we all learn as we go along.
So please indicate your willingness and interest and email us at junior.convenor@gmail.com
if you wish to help us.
**ELHC requires all volunteers assisting the club to hold a current working with Children’s
Check, these can be gained free to charge through any Australia post outlet or online.
