EPS - ELECTRONIC
PRESCRIBING
SERVICE
We are now operating the Electronic
Prescription Service. We can send
your prescription electronically to the
chemist of your choice, saving you
time.
You can attend this clinic if you have any of the following:








Conjuntivitis
Fungal Infections – eg. nappy rash
Ear infections
Urine/bladder infection (women)
Eczema and minor skin conditions
Chickenpox
Colds and sore throats
Hand, foot and mouth disease
Many of these conditions can also be seen by a pharmacist
who can recommend over the counter remedies or in some
cases dispense medicine usually only available on
prescription.
NHS England have introduced the
Friends and Family Test.
This provides an opportunity for patients to
anonymously feedback whether they would
recommend the practice to family and friends. NHS
England will publish the results monthly.
A simple questionnaire (with just one question) is
available in the waiting room and online.
We would very much appreciate your feedback.
Is this service right for you?
Yes, if you have a stable condition and you:
 Don’t want to go to your GP
practice every time to
collect your repeat
prescription.
 Collect your medicines from
the same place most of the
time or use a prescription
collection service now.
It may not be if you:
 Don’t get prescriptions very
often.
 Pick up your medicines from
different places.
You need to choose a pharmacy to
deal with your electronic prescription.
This is called nomination.
For more information and to
collect a nomination form
please
speak
to
the
Receptionist or contact your
chosen pharmacy. You do
not need a computer to use
this service.
