Call to Order and approval of agenda
Review of minutes – May minutes to be revised by Jane (changes from Karsten); June and July minutes
approved
WWFM educator booth (volunteers and dates needed) – Karsten and Wayne available to man booth at
Carpenter Village location on August 29 (if spot still available); otherwise, new dates to be decided on
3M Project – wood chips were delivered; landscape fabric to be used under wood chips; weed whacker
needs to be re-stringed
Composting – Karsten has finished construction of first bin; next bin to be completed next weekend
Children’s garden – work in progress; pallet wall to be constructed on one side
Fall planting – Wayne waiting to receive more responses to survey before posting results; Rod has
broccoli seedlings available; Wayne to email membership regarding clean up for fall planting; plan
monthly workday
Donation partners – Grow Our Kids is new organization interested in receiving donations; we have
previously donated to Dorcas in Cary
Communications — No updates; suggestion to post garden “wish list” on website; plan is to have a fall
potluck in late October
GoDaddy.com website renewal – Jane has coupon for 50% off
