JOE TOBIN PROPOSAL FOR INDOOR SOCCER TEAM (resident advisor in whyburn)
o Intramural indoor soccer team
o Asking for $60 dollars for Hereford soccer team already created
o Did fund the ultimate Frisbee team
o VOTE: PASSED!
VIGGY (Senior Resident) Proposal for Hillfest
o Hillfest (Oktoberfest, Frisbee tournament)
o Held on lawn this Sunday the 18th 11 am – 3 pm
o Hereford and JMW will be providing $150 for food from Housing and residence life
o Viggy is asking for $300 for event
 $150 for pumpkins (30 small, 30 large)
 $150 for additional food that won’t be provided by the $150 from Hereford and
JMW
o VOTE: PASSED!
Reusable K-cups for coffee machine in the hub
o Instead of using plastic k cups, we should buy reusable green k cups and buy the powder
instead
o It will probably be relatively cheap to buy the new cups
o The proposal is for $40 for the cups
o Variety might go down because we will have to purchase in bulk
o Keurig single cup brewing model K60 is the machine we have
o VOTE: PASSED
Movie on the Hill:
o Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone will be shown Oct. 30th at 8:30pm on the hill
o Popcorn truck will be there
o Green room is reserved as a backup
o Need to advertise to the entire University
o Costume contest incorporated into the event as well and will be open to anyone at UVA
o PLAN A: Will be judged based on how loud people scream for certain people’s costume
o PLAN B: ad hoc judging committee will be made to judge if a lot of costumed people
come
o Prize will most likely be Halloween candy or a food gift card (

BBQ for Saturday football game (Oct. 17th) 12pm between Whyburn and Norris
