Bonjour! Paris, ce magnifique, n'est pas? This means "Paris, it is magnificent, isn't it?" The
place I would love to visit would be Paris because the experience could be beneficial in many ways.
Since I am in my third year of french, I can speak french fairly well and have a real conversation with
other french speakers. If I went to France, I would get to hear native French speakers and their
accents, which could really help me improve. In addition, I would get to learn more about the current
French culture and get to see a new and exciting places. Visiting France could teach me a lot and
would be a great overall experience.
First, as stated previously, I am in my third year of french. Learning french is so fascinating
because the language itself is so different from anything else and is absolutely beautiful when
spoken. If I visited France, I would get to hear native french speakers and hear their accent. This
could help me with my overall comprehension of how I should pronounce my words when I speak in
french. Also, I would get to practice my french quite a bit while I was there and possibly even learn a
few new words from listening to everyone. To add on, I would get to learn so much about the french
culture while in France. Anyone can read a book or watch a video about France, but being there
would give me a whole new perspective and deeper understanding of what it is really like. I would
firsthand experience the delicious french cuisine, such as a real french baguette or creme brulee, at
a bakery or cute cafe that I would visit. Then, I may even pick up some new fashion ideas from a
special store in town. Also, I could learn a bit more about the etiquette of those in France, which
could be quite interesting and provide me with an expanded knowledge of their customs.
Next, I would get to go see new places such as the astonishing Eiffel Tower, beautiful Notre
Dame or Marie Antoinette's home, and the fascinating catacombs. The Eiffel Tower, or "Tour Eiffel"
as the French call it, is an experience many dream of, including myself. I have always aspired to
take a picture by it and say I saw the beautiful architecture of the Eiffel Tower. Also, the Notre Dame
and the Catacombs are interesting to look at and would offer me a real look into the history of
France. Then, Marie Antoinette's home is absolutely breathtaking from the huge garden to her small
cottage, and of course, the house itself.
Visiting Paris would be an amazing experience that would not only be fun, but informational. I
would gain more than memories from the interesting places I would visit because I would specifically
gain information on the culture and some ideas on how to improve my french accent. Paris is the
place to be because of all it offers, and because it is simply "magnifique!"
