CORE VALUES
1. Customer Service: I will strive to have personal contact with every client.
I will differentiate myself from other service providers by being
personable, showing empathy, and educating the client on accounting
principles being applied to their project. I will communicate positively to
create a memorable experience to all involved.
2. Ownership: I am truly responsible for my actions and outcomes and own
everything that takes place in my work and my life. I show passion in
what I do so all involved can see. I reference our clients with “us” or
“our”, showing we are a team.
3. Make it Happen: I focus my efforts to make a key difference to my
efficiency on the delivery of my products and services. I strive to invent
or discover new ways to work around problems and challenges. I will
follow internal communication methods to encourage quicker client
responses and always look for ways to complete the task
4. Team Work: I am a team player and function best as a team. I do
whatever it takes to stay together as a team as it is critical to the success
and efficiency of the firm. I am flexible in my work and able to change if
what I’m doing is not working. I ask for help when I need it and I am
compassionate to others who ask me, we are all equal.
5. Environment: Pressures from clients, budgets, or regulatory bodies are
common to our industry. I strive to keep a lively workplace environment.
I encourage team members to speak freely. I will maintain a balance to
separate from work, to unwind, or unplug from the stress to achieve
greater productivity.
6. Leaders: I will work to develop and maintain modern tax advice and
client structures. I will look for opportunities to participate in industry
discussions, panels, surveys, and participate in industry journals, writing
articles. I will be friendly and considerate in transitioning clients between
other firms. I will strive to teach other team members all I know and look
for opportunities to expand each other’s technical abilities.
7. Training: I learn from my mistakes. I consistently learn, grow and
master so that I can help my fellow team members and clients learn, grow
and master too. I participation in controlled situational training to help
hone my service and problem resolution skills before I am placed in those
situations with clients.
8. Community: I proudly represent Hall & Associates CPAs, LTD in my
community. I will be an example to those around me and look for ways
to uplift those in need. I will be sympathetic to unfortunate
circumstances, consistent in providing aid, understanding and
compassionate in my desire to improve others. I will not put myself in
positions to be taken advantage of or to complete impossible tasks. I will
strive to find ways to give back to my community through direct
charitable donations and individual participation in specialized
organizations and charitable events.
9. Professional Compliance: I am self-regulated by CPA oversight boards. I
pledge to follow all required ethical and professional guidelines, and I will
maintain the required documented process of internal quality control. I
will regularly update and maintain all required processes and adhere to
them explicitly.
10. Appearance: I separate myself from others in my industry by
maintaining a professional appearance. I standout compared to others
because of how I present myself. I keep my language to a professional
level. In conversation with clients I balance the amount of personal
disclosure.
