Application to search the environmental management and contaminated
land registers
This is the approved form for making an application to the administering authority to search the Environmental Management
Register and Contaminated Land Register under section 542(3) of the Environmental Protection Act 1994 (EP Act).

Fees and methods of searching the register
There is a fee1 for searching the Environmental Management Register (EMR) and Contaminated Land Register
(CLR). You can search the registers online at https://products.ehp.qld.gov.au/shopping/home, pay by credit
card and a response will be emailed in one (1) day. Online searches do not require this application form to be
completed.
Alternatively you can complete and lodge this application form by mail, or in person. Search results are returned
in five (5) business days if lodged personally and ten (10) business days if lodged by mail. More information
about searching the registers, and what the results mean, is available on the Queensland Government website
www.qld.gov.au/environment.

Plan reference is used for recording land on the registers and providing this information aids in the search
process. The Lot and Plan can be found on the Land Title Certificate or rates notice. If you require additional
space you can attach the information on a separate sheet.
