Wellness in the bathtub – with water up to the top
With the new “Multiplex” fitting from Viega,
the water rises five centimetres “above
normal level”
Slipping into a warm bathtub is a particularly sensual way to relax. With
the new bathtub fittings “Multiplex Visign M9” and “Multiplex Trio Visign
MT9”, Viega has managed to increase the level of bathing comfort. From
now on, all it takes is a gentle touch of the rotatable collar and the water
level can be raised by 5 centimetres.
“Multiplex” drain and overflow fittings from Viega belong to the bathroom
classics. The reason for this – alongside the high level of functionality from a
combination of drain and overflow, optionally with inlet – is the award-winning
design: the “Multiplex” series with various equipment sets has been
nominated, among other awards, for the “Designpreis Deutschland” (German
Design Prize) and has been awarded the “Red Dot Award”.
More comfort due to more water
With the new models “Multiplex Visign M9” as well as “Multiplex Visign Trio
MT9”, the fittings offer a further comfort feature. With one soft touch of the
rotatable collar, the water level can be raised five centimetres “above normal
level”. A gentle pull at the actuating unit lowers the water to return to normal
level. In both cases the overflow function remains active.
If the overflow function is not heightened, the water will simply flow away
through the rotatable collar. Pressing gently closes the opening, the water
then flows down the top edge and the tub can be filled 5 cm deeper. Opening
and closing of the drain is done in the normal way by a half turn of the
actuating unit.
Function can be easily retro-fitted
The new bathtub fittings with water level raiser can be fitted to any
commercially obtainable bathtub with a standardised overflow hole. They are
available in three sizes under the names “Multiplex M9” and “Multiplex Trio
MT9”, as well as chrome-plated, there is a coated stainless steel version in the
series. Viega has developed a conversion kit for bathtub fittings from the new
