QUALIFICATIONS
We’re currently only considering candidates who have completed the bachelor’s degree. For most positions, a four year
degree will qualify. Some positions require specialized college coursework. For example, Contract Specialist requires 24
credits of business coursework. Engineers require a professional engineering degree. Operations Research Analyst
requires 24 credits of operations research, mathematics, statistics, or related coursework.
STARTING SALARY RANGE (starting salary dependent on GPA or qualifying experience)
Mechanicsburg Annual Rate: GS-5: $32,352 or GS-7: $40,075; targets to the GS-11: $59,308 or GS-12: $71,087
Philadelphia Annual Rate: GS-5: $34,542 or GS-7: $42,788; targets to the GS-11: $63,323 or GS-12: $75,900
Norfolk Annual Rate: GS-5: $32,318 or GS-7: $40,033; targets to the GS-12: $71,012
Engineers at any location: GS-5: $36,740 or GS-7: $45,512; targets to the GS-12 salary for each location listed above
