“ A RESOLUTION ENACTING MUNICIPAL ORDINANCE NO. 006, SERIES OF 2014
CREATING PLANTILLA POSITIONS IN THE LOCAL GOVERNMENT UNIT OF
PILAR, SORSOGON.”

WHEREAS, the Philippine Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Act of 2010 mandates the
established of Local Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office in the local
government units;
WHEREAS, Municipal Ordinance No. 001, Series of 2014 created Pilar Municipal Disaster Risk
Reduction and Management Office and it carries with it expanded services and functions
necessitating personnel to man such office and be responsible for setting the direction,
development, implementation, and coordination of disaster risk reduction and management
programs and such other duties mandated by law;
NOW THEREFORE, on motion of Hon. George E. Loseriaga, duly seconded by all the Members
present, it was
RESOLVED, to enact an ordinance creating several plantilla positions in the Local Government Unit of
Pilar, Sorsogon.

“ AN ORDINANCE CREATING SEVERAL PLANTILLA POSITIONS IN THE LOCAL
GOVERNMENT UNIT (LGU) OF PILAR, SORSOGON.”
BE IT ORDAINED by the Sangguniang Bayan of Pilar, Sorsogon that:

Section 1 – CREATION. The following Plantilla Positions are hereby created in the Local Government
Unit of Pilar, Sorsogon, to wit:

Section II – Position Titles, Qualifications Standards, and Salary Grades for the Technical Staff of the
Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management. Joint Memorandum Circular No. 2014-1 dated
April 4, 2014 of the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council, Department of Interior
and Local Government, Department of Budget and Civil Service Commission is hereby read into this
ordinance which states that:
“6.1. The Local DRRM Officer series of position titles with their corresponding minimum
qualification standards and salary grades shall be used in the classification of the technical staff positions
for the LDRRMO, as follows:

Powers and duties relative to the above created positions shall be governed by the provisions of Republic
Act 10121.
Section III – COMPENSATION AND RELATED EMPLOYMENT-RELATED LAWS. The
compensation and employment-related laws not in conflict with the provisions of Republic Act 10121
relative to the above created positions shall be governed by the Civil Service Law.
Section IV – EFFECTIVITY. This ordinance shall take effect upon its approval.
