Qualified undergraduate students with a GPA of 3.0 or higher may begin taking graduate courses second
semester of junior year. Students should follow a fifth year curriculum plan, enrolling in no more than one
(1) graduate course/semester. Prior to registering, please secure the following signatures, and return
completed form to Fifth Year Admission Counselor, St. Joseph’s Hall 214.

Processes for applying to 5th year program:
Students accepted to 5th year program before freshman year:
1) Complete this “Intention to Pursue 5th Year Program” Form.
2) Confirm courses with advisor & register for a graduate class 2 nd semester junior year (space permitting)
3) Begin taking graduate courses as long as GPA is over 3.0
4) No additional application is required!
Juniors and seniors not previously accepted to 5th year program:
1) Complete this “Intention to Pursue 5th Year Program” Form
2) Confirm courses with advisor & register for a graduate class 2nd semester junior year (space permitting)
3) Able to begin taking graduate courses as long as GPA is over 3.0
4) Begin working on Graduate Application. Submit to The Office of Graduate Admission prior to undergraduate graduation.
