Describe your overall project including project goals.
Continue to collaborate with and support the Occidental College Farm to Preschool
model in local preschool sites by conducting trainings and providing technical
assistance. Additionally, we will coordinate meetings and agenda for the F2P
subcommittee.

This project is ongoing through March 2014.
How does this project impact health equity? The Farm to Preschool model promotes
lifelong healthy eating habits and connects children and families to growing their
own food and understanding local sources of food.

The Farm to Preschool program promotes the adoption of a wellness policy. The
5210 Every Day! Campaign message is integrated into the Domain’s wellness policy
template.

Future childcare providers and agencies that adopt a farm to preschool model could
