Q1-The Company typically sells gloves, latex, examination and surgical, disposable,
sterile, size 7 1/2, BX/40. Is it acceptable to switch to a sterile version of the gloves? Is
the change in box quantity ok as long as the total quantity is kept consistent (19,100
boxes of BX/100 = 1,910,000 gloves total)?
A1: The requested item is for Gloves Non-Sterile only.
The quantity for item No. 1 is 2000 Box of 100 PC.
The quantity is 19,100 Box of 100 is for item No. 2 namely Syringes Disposable size
29G.
Q2- "Required minimum delivery date: July 2014" Annex 3, on page 1 of 3, Point 4 of the
minimum period. Does the delivery date mean departure date or arrival date? Can you
please provide accurate date?
A2: Delivery date means the arrival date to UNRWA Warehouses.
Delivery time is requested to be on 30 July 2014.
Q3- “Samples are requested for all items to be tested (supplier must provide on Box for
Each item).” Annex 2 Special Conditions, on page 1 of 2, Point 2.6.
Please clarify how many samples for each item do you need?
A3: Samples must be provided one original Box according to the company packing for
each item.
Q4- Eligibility of Foreign bidder – Is a foreign bidder that is not registered in Israel
eligible to quote? (We are registered with the UNGM and have previously supplied to
UNRWA)
A4: Yes, he can, but the important issue is to deliver the items with the acceptable
Israeli standards for Disposable Medical Supplies.
Q5-Eligibility of products – In page 2 of the bidding document it was mentioned that the
offered Disposable Medical Supplies must be in accordance with Israeli Medicine Rules
and Regulations. Does this mean that the product offered need to have prior registration
with Israel MOH? Are there any count
A5: The supplier will be responsible to deliver all the items according to the requested
specifications matching with the Israeli standards for Medical Supplies.
Q6- Are functionally equivalent alternative items acceptable? We would also be very
grateful if you could point us to a reference for the Israeli Medicine Rules and
Regulations.
A6: Any equivalent alternative offer will be accepted if it meets the requested
specifications which are clearly mentioned on the solicited documents for 64RFQ000253
and the Israeli standards for Medical Supplies.
Q7-Please confirms the address for both the sample products shipment, as well as the
delivery address for the final order.
A7: The address for both sample products shipment and delivery address for the final

Q8-When is the expected award for this ITB?
A8: Awarding for this ITB is expected to be in 30 June 2014.
Q9-Is the consignee registered in Israel to receive medical supplies? In particular,
needles?
A9: Yes, UNRWA is registered to receive Disposables Medical Supplies in Israel.
Q10-The syringes and the needles require a permit from the Ministry of Health. Does the
UNRWA already have this permit? Import approval must also be requested from the
Ministry of Health, which will likely add 1-3 weeks of transit time if not cleared
previously.
A10: Upon receiving the shipping documents provided 14 days before shipment the
permit will be issued from Israel MOH.
Q11- We would like to find out if you want the syringe rubber in latex or latex free. And
you want PE pack or blister?
A11: The requested is Latex free only.
Blister packing is requested.
Q13- confirms if you need 2 kinds of gloves (Examination AND Surgical)? If so, what is
the division of quantities per type or is it 2000.00 boxes examination and 2000.00
surgical?
A13: The requested is Gloves examination only Latex non-Sterile equal 2000 Box of 100
PC size Medium. 7 ½.
