SUMMARY:
This position is primarily responsible for managing all inventory within the company
including; raw material, tooling, equipment, WIP, field, and finished goods.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Core duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.






Forecasting material needs based on production planning
Receiving of materials and transfer into their designated inventory locations
Assignment of materials for production work orders
Management and reporting of material status throughout the manufacturing
process (WIP)
Management and reporting of inventory levels based on production forecasts
Management and reporting of consigned inventory within the external sales
network

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
High School Diploma or AA degree Preferred
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and
maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports
and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or
employees of organization.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical
inference. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and
proportions to practical situations.
COMPUTER SKILLS:
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of: Accounting
Software (QuickBooks); Database Software (Access); Manufacturing Software;
Spreadsheet Software (Excel); Inventory Software; Word Processing Software
(Word); Electronic Mail Software (Outlook)
REASONING ABILITY:
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in
written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several
concrete variables in standardized situations.
