World Biomes Homework
I want you to tell the story of a world biome and at least two of the organisms that live there and
how they have evolved/adapted to the type of conditions found there
Your job is to choose one of the following biomes or habitats

Describe the habitat –

Where is it found? (you could print a map and colour it to show it or you could write a short
description of its location)
What is the climate (Average weather conditions) like? (You can include rainfall,
temperatures – daily, monthly etc – wind conditions, differences between seasons if any
(you can print some rainfall and temperature graphs and include them in your work)
Give some examples of the kind of Plants live there
Give some examples of the kind of animal that live there
Pick at least 1 Plant and 1 Animal and either draw them and annotate (Labels with information) to
show the specific adaptations that organism has to allow it to live well in the habitat or print a
picture of the organism and annotate that. Remember the camel and the cactus
