Quizzes are given every week during the first 15 minutes of lab. They will consist of 10 fill in the
blank questions about material from the previous lab. The lowest quiz will be dropped. There will
be no make-up quizzes unless approved by the instructor. If you must be absent, you need to
make up the lab with another section during the SAME WEEK. You may not take a quiz in
another lab more than once.
Practicals:
Each practical must be taken with your lab section. If you must be absent at that time, you
need to get permission to take the practical with another section during the SAME WEEK.
Practicals consist of 50 fill in the blank questions about material covered over the last 4 to 5
weeks. Practicals are not cumulative.
Attendance:
College Policy will look at your attendance 3 times during the Session.
- At the end of the 1st week of the Session, at the end of the 2nd week of the
Session, and after the withdrawal date or the 60% mark.
- Attendance will be taken each lab meeting.
- If you miss 2 labs you will be given an automatic “F”.
- If the excessive unexcused absences occur before the withdrawal date
you will be given a “WF”.
- If you do not wish to have a “WF”, YOU MUST WITHDRAW
YOURSELF. Instructors are no longer able to withdraw you.
- If you disappear after the withdrawal date you will receive an “F”.
