New Corpak Taping Method
• Reason to implement
– RCA of pressure ulcer related to corpak and nare taping
– Increasing numbers of device related pressure ulcers
– EBP
• How to implement
– Education provided on device related pressure ulcers
– Encouraged staff that if possible small bore feeding
tubes/NG’s should be inserted orally
– If the tube must be placed in nares, utilize new taping
method to allow free floating of tube in nare.
• Change tape q24hrs
