School Feature By: Josh Keith
The students of
Cobblestone Elementary
School, in Plumas Lake,
were celebrating Red
Ribbon Week. On
Tuesday, October 23,
2012 the school had a
spirit day of “Team Up
Against Drugs.” We all
got to wear our favorite
sports gear to show our
spirit. There were
football, basketball,
baseball, and mostly
Giant’s jerseys because
they had just won the
World Series. Some
people were even
wearing more than one
piece of team gear. We
showed our spirit to say
no to drugs and it was a
great day!

THE THREE STOOGES
Movie Review By: Cameron Castro and Steven Spessard
Do you want to know
why you should watch The
Three Stooges? Well, I will tell
you. It takes place in a
church/foster home. A family
comes to pick up a child they
are adopting. The boy is sad
because they do not want to take
the other kids with them. Due to
the child being so sad, the adults
decide to send him back. They
instead adopt a child named
Teddy. As the three young boys
get older, the foster mother tells
them to go fix the bell. The
three silly boys go up there and
one decides to bring a chain

occasion.”
saw. You can only imagine the
danger this brings. This whole
movie is filled with funny
scenes and shares the story of
these three mindless boys who
are extremely funny. You will
love this movie!
“What’s New
Cupcake” is a
spectacular book. It tells
a lot about cupcakes.
You don’t need a
special talent to make
these awesome
cupcakes. All you need
is a handful of candy,
frosting, cupcake batter,
and a good kitchen.
We recommend
this book because we
learned a lot of
techniques that even the
worst baker can use to
make fabulous
cupcakes. You can
make these cupcakes for
any occasion, even just
for fun. These cupcakes
can also make an event
a phenomenal occasion.

By: Jordan G., Timothy M.,
and Julyssa P.
Thursday, October 25th
was “Put a Cap on
Drugs,” day at
Cobblestone Elementary
School.
A lot of people showed
spirit by wearing their
favorite hats. I saw a lot
of people wearing their
favorite football caps.
Most of the people I saw
were wearing their
favorite Giants hats. It
was a lot of fun seeing
the spirit of the students.
