I am writing to you on behalf of the Oratory Preparatory School in Summit, New Jersey
to respectfully request a donation from your organization for our annual Fashion Show
and luncheon to be held at the Hanover Marriott in Whippany, New Jersey on Sunday,
November 9, 2014.
Oratory Preparatory School, founded in 1907, is a Roman Catholic college preparatory
day school for boys in grades 7 to 12 and an educational ministry of the Archdiocese of
Newark, New Jersey. Oratory students come from diverse cultural, ethnic and religious
backgrounds. Oratory Prep is one of the oldest all-boys schools in New Jersey and
proudly claims very successful business, educational and political leaders among its alumni.
The theme of this years’ event is The Oratory “PREP”. Our immediate goal is to raise
funds for the school to add new programs and to make improvements to the
infrastructure. Equally important, however, is our commitment to raise the awareness
of the school with business leaders. As a business owner, you know the
challenges that lay ahead for our sons, and through the generous support of businesses
like yours, Oratory Prep is truly proud to graduate its 107th class of fine young men in
2015!
In exchange for your support, we will promote your business by including your company’s
name in this year’s Event Program. We anticipate over 300 guests and will encourage all
of them to frequent your business establishment in response to your generosity. We
sincerely hope that you can find a way to support The Oratory “PREP” Fashion Show by
donating merchandise, services, or a gift certificate. We will gladly arrange for the
pickup of your donation. Your tax-deductible donation is greatly appreciated.
