VACANCY: SENIOR LECTURER/VETERINARIAN
POSITION NUMBER: MC07120
Responsibilities:
•
An average number of client transactions and patient visits
•
Practice revenue, active and new clients
•
Participation in veterinary research or a related field
•
Course and curriculum development
•
Community outreach
•
Other administrative duties assigned by the programme coordinator, school director or faculty
dean
Minimum requirements:
•
A BVSc degree plus registration with the SAVC
•
A postgraduate qualification will be an advantage
•
Proof of knowledge of small and large animal medicine
•
Practice recordkeeping and surgery skills
•
Veterinary outreach experience
•
The ability to teach veterinary subjects and to supervise students’ clinical modules
•
The ability to function effectively as part of the team in a multicultural environment
•
The ability to work independently with minimum supervision
Recommendations:
•
Registration with the South African Veterinary Council
Total remuneration package: Market related.
