GESD Lesson Design Framework Lesson 2 of 5 Essential Questions: What does it mean to be fair? Why is it important to be fair? Why do we need to care about one another? What do you do in the classroom to be fair? To be caring? Big Idea: What we do as individuals affects everyone around us. We must be conscientious of our actions and the impact they have on the group as a whole. If we expect to be treated fairly, we must be fair to others. Caring about other people helps us to build empathy. Performance Objective: Writing: S1C1PO2: Determine the purpose of an intended writing piece.
