This is the text format for submissions to the IX Workshop Italiano Sol-Gel. The document to be uploaded
must be saved as “authorlastname.pdf”.
Paper size should be A4 format (210 mm x 297 mm). Margins should be set for a 2.7 cm top, 2 cm bottom,
2.5 cm left, and right.
For text use only 10-point Times New Roman (roman, bold or italic) and Symbol. Include all equations,
drawings, figures and references within the two pages limit.
Do not add page numbers and avoid footnotes.
Simple equations should be included in-line wherever possible. Figures should be preferably centered as shown
below. Placing subfigures side-by-side is also a convenient way to include multiple results. Figure captions
should be centered beneath figures and in 8-point font.

References should appear at the end of the page, as shown below, in the order in which they are referenced.
Within the main text, references should be designated by a number in brackets [1].
