Dear Tarsem

Please accept my congratulations on being identified within the Times top 500 schools in the country. It is an astonishing achievement to be included in such a list and it is something that we are all proud of.

Thank you for all the hard work that has brought about this remarkable achievement.

I know that it will have been a truly team effort so, please pass on my congratulations and thanks to the whole school team.

Yours sincerely

Collecting Children at the End of the School Day

When collecting children at the end of the school day (3.15 p.m.) please remember to leave the school grounds promptly as the children who attend after school clubs are still on the premises and we need to keep our building secure.

Please remember that before and after school, the children are the responsibility of parents

/ carers and should be kept under close supervision.

If your child is attending any after school activities they should be collected from the new entrance on Hollin Mount.

Wizards and Superstars Assembly

The Wizards and Superstars Assembly starts at 2.40 p.m. on Friday afternoons. Parents and carers can gain access to attend the assembly from 2.30 to 2.45 p.m. at the latest by using the new entrance on Hollin Mount, a member of staff will be at the door to let you in.

Message from Child Friendly Headingley

We are a new group called Child Friendly Headingley who are born out of the Headingley

Neighbourhood plan process. Over the past few months, a team of us have established a number of objectives centred around making Headingley more child friendly. These are as follows:

- To promote and develop Headingley as a child-friendly environment.

- To promote working together to make sure every child has the best start.

- To focus on providing recreational facilities for children in Headingley

- To promote fun and healthy lifestyles for children.

- To ensure children can make safe journeys and easily travel around the area.

- To encourage families with young children to settle in Headingley

We are keen to hear views from other people in our community and so have organised a drop in session for people to share their ideas and thoughts on these and any priorities for how they can be implemented, this Saturday 28th November between 2-4pm in the Headingley

Library.

If you have any representatives from Weetwood who would like to come and visit us at the library this Saturday, please do come and say hello.
