THANK YOU!!! We had a lovely fieldtrip. Thanks to Aubrey’s sister Katie, Torin’s
mom Lezlie, and Solen’s mom Karina (Birthday Celebration Too!!) for chaperoning
our field trip to the Overture Center to hear Kenny Broad speak about his
underwater exploring in Blue Holes in the Bahamas.
Celebration!! We had almost $90 donated to the Swaziland Book Drive project from
our students’ spare change and savings. We won the school Penny Drive and Mrs.
Sheila, Girl Scout Leader in charge of the program, donated 2 boxes of Thin Mint Girl
Scout Cookies to our class to enjoy.
Please attend our all school “Rainbow Celebration” beginning at 9 AM on Thursday,
March 13th. Our class will be performing at SHARE in the Auditorium between 1:452:15 PM. We are earning this whole day celebration and we will wear colorful
clothing and have some surprises. If you are planning to attend, that would be lovely!
You don’t have to RSVP; just sign in at the office and join us in the classroom for the
day. I’d highly recommend attending the school-wide SHARE assembly if you are
able.
Spring Break is April 14-21. School resumes on April 22nd.
VIP (Very Important Person) Sharing has begun. Students will tell you about it, but
they can bring in non-expensive/precious things that tell about themselves. They
also may bring an adult(s), treat, anything they choose that is appropriate. I don’t
have special paperwork filled out for kids to bring in animals at this time. Questions,
contact me. The times for the sharing are 9:05-9:25 A.M.
