1. Describe the specific work scope and tasks in your 9-week internship. What is the role of the

functions related to policy-making, research related to public policy or government,
implementation or development of policy).
3. Elaborate on your reason for applying for a stipend. Would you be able to take this unpaid
internship without the stipend? What are your summer plans in case you do not receive a stipend?

Please elaborate on your reasons for choosing this work for the summer. Be sure to cover (1)why you are
interested in policy in general or in this specific aspect of policy (2)how your internship fits with your
education goals (3) any previous experience/coursework in the field you are connecting to public policy
through your internship
Budget Plan
Please provide a line-item breakdown of your estimated cost of living budget so we can ensure the
stipend can cover your living expenses. The budget must include housing, food, and transportation, both
to your internship and during the time of your internship.
Internship Site Questionnaire
Your supervisor from the host organization must provide a written response to each of the following
questions. Your supervisor should submit his/her responses to sigstipends@gmail.com
