About the Internship
We are looking for a good writer and social networker who can jump into the fast-paced world of online
consumer content and social media. The projects include working closely with our content staff to
highlight blog posts, videos, podcasts and other media. There will also be an opportunity to create
original content. Experience with Photoshop and web design is a plus.
The ideal candidate will have some experience in media and is a solid writer. Further, the candidate
should be action-oriented, dogged, and extremely diligent. Enthusiasm for the job and a can-do attitude
are important qualities that we are looking for.
Community College students and recent graduates are strongly encouraged to apply.
Structure of the Internship
The internship is structured as a guaranteed ten weeks beginning in Spring 2014. The expectation is
twenty hours per week at a rate of $12 per hour. Pay will be $2,400 for the full ten weeks. This position
may turn into a full- or part-time job at the end of the initial ten weeks.
This internship may be in conjunction with the Massachusetts Clean Energy Center (MassCEC) or the
Mass Tech Collaborative and is specifically geared for college and advanced degree students and recent
graduates. For this reason, the intern must also meet the following criteria:
1. Must attend, or have attended a college or university located in Massachusetts, or they
must be a Massachusetts resident and able to present proof of residency.
2. Students must have completed or will complete at least their sophomore year of college the
semester before the internship, or have graduated within the past year.
 Therefore, your year of graduation must be 2013, 2014, 2015, or 2016.
3. If a student attends or attended a community college (or 2‐year associate program), s/he
must have or will complete an associate’s degree or certificate program in 2013 or 2014.
4. Graduate students must have or will complete a Master's Degree program after 2012

360Chestnut is a web-intermediary in the ~$200B home improvement market with a focus on residential
energy efficiency. Specifically, 360Chestnut helps consumers make their homes more energy efficient,
healthy and comfortable by connecting them with various rebate and incentives programs that can help
pay for this work. In parallel, 360Chestnut provides the service providers with the tools, support and
customers they need to be successful.
