Skill Book Pass Offs
Thank you for volunteering today! Here are the steps
for passing off the skills in the student skill books.
1. Grab all of the student skill books.
2. On the front cover, there should be initials from the parents stating that
their child is ready to be passed off.
3. Starting with #1 check for proficiency in that skill.
4. In order for a student to pass off a skill, the student must show mastery. This
means completing the skill correctly without hesitation.
5. If the students passed off a skill place a sticker in that box. Move on to
passing off the next # in the book.
6. If the student did not pass off that skill, fill out the small quarter sheet and
have the student take it home. That way the parents can know which
one they are stuck on and practice a little more at home.
7. Mark the student spreadsheet to keep track of what they have passed
off. Place an X in the box if they passed it. Leave the box empty if they did
not.
Remember…Keep going in order and do not move on until each skill is
mastered and passed off.
