Having experienced continued and rapid growth in our domestic, international and online businesses, we
now require an experienced Technical Product Administrator to support the marketing department in
managing the entire range of Leckey products.
The Role:
Reporting to the Marketing Manager the successful candidate will be responsible for the administration of
technical information, prices and product updates relating to Leckey’s full product portfolio.
In this role you will be responsible for:
Product Information
 Updating the National Sales and Customer Service Teams on product changes as and when they
occur.
 Collating and maintaining spare parts manuals for use on Leckey website.
Process Mapping
 You will be responsible for setting up and maintaining systems in relation to price lists and a
technical query database.
Sales codes
 Working with the marketing department to define code configurations for new products and product
updates.
Pricing
 Working with marketing department to calculate prices for UK/ROI, UK distributors and export
distributors based on costs, margin requirements and reimbursement available
 Updating Quotewerks and Sage with pricing and configurations for new products or product
updates, pricing changes and ad hoc as required
 Communicating price rises internally and externally
 Calculating prices for Product Bundles
 Communicating all discounts and Product Bundle or special pricing, including relevant time period,
to CSRs, PAs and SOP
Engineering Change Requests
 Managing the marketing side of the ECN’s, and communicate as required to other members of
Marketing, Sales, Export Markets, Customer Service Departments, and Sales Order Processing.
The successful candidate will preferably have:








A minimum of 3 years’ experience working with technical products
A 3rd level qualification would be desirable but experience is key to this appointment.
Experience liaising with technical departments such as engineering and design teams.
Excellent attention to detail, spelling and grammar.
Highly numerate with a good understanding of key financial concepts
Excellent organisation, planning and time management skills
Must have good experience in using a range of office software to include Advanced Excel (or be
highly proficient) , Word and Powerpoint
An appreciation or familiarity with other languages would be beneficial in this role to include
German, Italian, French and Spanish although this is not a prerequisite.
