of Chartered Accountants of India to identify Information Technology challenges facing the

from developing Practice Guides, Training Aids, Software’s and Publications on Information

The Committee on Information Technology of ICAI offers a highly popular Post-Qualification
Course (PQC) on Information Systems Audit (ISA) leading to the designation D.I.S.A. (ICAI)
and Certificate Course on Forensic Accounting and Fraud Prevention.
Post Qualification Course on Information System Audit enables members to provide value added
services of IS Audit/ Systems& Process Assurance (SPA), which are in increasing demand as
Government Departments, PSU's/ Corporate are increasingly deploying IT Resources to offer
streamline their operations and offer value added services to their clients.
Forensic Accounting and Fraud Prevention specialization is in increasing demand considering
increasing incidents of cybercrimes and frauds detection. This course will provide an
understanding about the current state of Frauds, Technologies involved and their characteristics
and give a well-knitted overview & assessment approach along with that of the prevailing cyber
laws/ IT Act.
