West Bengal Electronics Industry Development Corporation Limited (WEBEL) is facilitating
development of Electronics / IT / ITeS industry in West Bengal. Being a State Undertaking under the
administrative control of the Department of Information Technology & Electronics, Government of
West Bengal, the Company implements large office automation, workflow automation and egovernance projects as well as infrastructure development and management mostly for various
Government departments and public sector companies.
Executive Director (Technical & Business Development)
The incumbent should be a Graduate Engineer in the field of Electronics / Telecommunication /
Computer Science / IT preferably with post graduate qualification in management. The age of the
candidate should be within 50 years as on 01.11.2015. A minimum 15 years work experience with at
least 6 years in senior management level with proven exposure in decision making at a high level is
necessary.
The candidate must have worked at a senior level in a reputed organisation in IT / ITeS / Electronics
Industry. He should be able to conceptualise, evaluate & execute techno commercial project proposals
including extensive project management experience. The incumbent should have experience of
handling LAN / WAN, e-Governance, high end compute / storage, Network security, optical fibre
Networks, GPON, Database Applications middleware and business process re-engineering.
The incumbent will have to lead a team of senior managers and will report to the Managing Director.
The appointment will be contractual for a period of three years with the option of renewal.
General Manager / Dy. Gen. Manager for Group Company / Subsidiary Unit
Graduate Engineer in Electronics / Telecommunication / Computer Science / IT from a recognised
university preferably with post graduate qualification in management with 15 years of work experience
in renowned organisation with sufficient exposure in decision making at medium / high level. The
candidate should have experience of handling LAN / WAN, e-Governance, high end compute / storage,
Network security, Database Applications middleware and business process re-engineering. The age
should be within 40 years as on 01.11.2015.
The incumbent should have a knowledge of running a medium scale organisation for improvement of
business with a strong marketing flair, profitability and overall administration. He will lead a team of
managers and will report to the Chairman.
Chief Information Officer
The position is required to administer and head the IT function and support the project group. The
candidate must have had a proven track record in the following areas :
Management of all aspects of Information Technology, IT strategy development
Project leadership for various in house projects, Formulation & implementation of IT Security policies.
Experience in Microsoft Dynamics NAV, MS Exchange and MS SharePoint, will be an added
advantage. Candidates must be an engineering graduate preferably with MBA/PG Degree/PG Diploma.
The candidate should have a minimum of 15 years of experience and at least 5 years in a senior
position in the above areas in organisation(s) of repute and the age should be within 40 years as on
01.11.2015. He will report to the Executive Director/Managing Director.

DGM / MANAGER – Internal Audit
The candidate should be Chartered / Cost Accountant with B. Com background. The candidate must
possesses proven experience as Internal Auditor, a thorough knowledge of accounting systems and
related procedures, sound independent judgment and excellent analytical, communication and
presentation skills.
He / She is to examine and evaluate the adequacy, effectiveness and efficiency of the organization’s
internal control systems and procedures and recommend corrective actions to improve operations and
enhance internal control.
Conduct audit with particular emphasis on propriety in the light of prevailing generally accepted
accounting standards, policies, rules, regulations, etc. so as to provide detailed and periodic internal
audit recommendations aimed at improvement of the process as well as enhancing quality / accuracy of
information, identifying the procedural weakness and strengthening the internal controls by a planned
review of accounting and business activities. Monitor the implementation of the management actions
recommended in the internal audit reports.
Conduct verification and reviews as advised by Board of Directors / Audit Committee / Higher
Management. The candidates should have minimum 10 years’ experience and maximum age limit is 40
years as on 01.11.2015 and will report to Managing Director.
Manager – Medical Electronic Equipment Maintenance Centre (MEMC) – Health Care Business Practice
The candidate should be B.E. / B. Tech in Biomedical Engineering from a reputed University. Degree
/ Diploma in Hospital Management will be an added advantage.
The candidate should be capable of drawing specification of Medical Equipment / Instruments after
understanding the requirements from customer (mainly Govt. Hospitals). He / She should have good
knowledge about Indian / Foreign products / manufacturers of Bio-Medical Equipment / Instruments.
They should be able to understand Repair / Replacement / Supply activities required to be carried out
against nature of faults / demands reported. Good communication skill in English, Bengali & Hindi is
desirable.
The candidate has to be very conversant with normal Hospital Management System flow and be
acquainted with a hands-on usability knowledge of running a Hospital Management Software product.
A working knowledge of Diagnostics Data Analytics would be an added advantage.
Experience: 10 years in the field of marketing / liaison with Hospitals for support / maintenance of
medical / bio-medical equipment / instruments. The maximum age limit of the candidate should be 40
years as on 01.11.2015.

Jr. Officer – Corporate Communication
Require young Officer / Executive within 30 years of age. The candidate should be graduate with
professional qualification in Mass Communication /Media Management / Public Relation etc. from
AICTE approved course. The applicant should be tech savvy viz. facebook, twitter and other
networking sites. Minimum experience three years’ in the allied areas.
Jr. Officer R.M.C.
Require CA (Inter)/Cost (Inter)/ MBA (Finance) and thorough knowledge in Computerised accounting
system and MS Office. Maximum age limit 30 years as on 01.11.2015. He / She should have a good
communication skill in drafting letters.
Jr. Officer - Accounts
Require M. Com from a reputed University preferably with CA (Intermediate) / ICWA (Intermediate)
which will be an added advantage. Maximum age limit 30 years as on 01.11.2015. Minimum experience
three years’ in statutory compliance in a Central / State PSU or in a reputed public limited company.
Experience in ERP would be essential.
Jr. Officer – Learning Service
Require Graduate or equivalent in IT / computer Application / Electronics from a recognised Institute /
University. Maximum age limit 30 years as on 01.11.2015. Minimum experience three years in
IT/Electronics Industry in a reputed firm. Experience in Education and Training in IT / Electronics
organisation will be preferred.
He / She has to identify the areas of Education & Training in IT / Electronics, to identify Training &
Education Partners, establish business contracts, to manage and administer the partners towards
delivery of quality training & adherences to academic schedules and other aspects of business contracts.
Jr. Officer / Sr. Technical Assistant – IT
Require BE / B. Tech in CS, IT or Electronics / MCA from a reputed university with good academic
background. The applicant should have 2–4 years’ experience on back end coding of MS Dynamics,
NAV, ERP and should have sound knowledge of MS SQL & MS SharePoint
The applicants should be within 30 years of age as on 01.11.2015.
All the appointments will be contractual for a period of five years excepting Executive Director
(Technical) and General Manager / Dy. Gen. Manager for Group Company/Subsidiary Unit with
the option of renewal.
