introducing the concept of pneumatics in Slovene language
conducting practical experiments on pneumatic equipment

answering questions (in English) about the practical work
explaining how directional valves and cylinders work
designing part of an industrial pneumatic system
Learning outcomes
At the end of the lesson, students will be able to:
 conduct their experiment on pneumatics
 explain and use the newly introduced English vocabulary in their oral reports
 answer questions (in English) about their practical work
 explain how directional valves and cylinders work
 design part of an industrial pneumatic system

Evaluation
The lesson went well for the most part and the learning objectives were mostly achieved. One of key concerns
with shadow teaching is to make sure to do enough with the students without getting too much in their way, as
they conduct their practical work. There was a fine balance between both in most cases, however, the slower
students did not always appreciate having to do language work as they struggled with the pneumatic installations.
