What is Juvéderm?
Juvéderm is an FDA-approved treatment for reducing the appearance of facial folds around the
nose. It can also be used as part of a safe and permanent method for lip augmentation.
What are the benefits of Juvéderm over other treatments?
Juvéderm is extremely easy for physicians to inject, so it involves minimal discomfort for the
client. Juvéderm is available in three variations, allowing it to be tailored to each client
individually. Juvéderm™ includes the highest concentration of hyaluronic acid compared to
other fillers, which provides dramatic results. Juvéderm is also the only hyaluronic acid filler that
has proven to be effective for clients of all skin tones and skin types.
Will there be any downtime?
There is no downtime with Juvéderm. Once the treatment is complete, you may return to your
normal daily activities immediately.
How long do the results last?
Juvéderm results last for at least six months, sometimes longer.
Who should avoid Juvéderm?
Individuals who have a history of excessive scarring, keloid formation or pigment disorders
should not use Juvéderm. It is also not recommended for clients who are pregnant or
breastfeeding.
Are there any possible side effects?
Temporary side effects may include swelling, tenderness, redness, lumpiness or bruising. As
with any type of injection, there is a small risk of infection.
