Reasonable accommodations
Use this check list to think about what supports or adjustments you may need to succeed in Trinity. For
example, examination accommodations, assistive technology, personal assistance. You should discuss
these with your parents or guidance counselor / resource teacher.
You could complete it like this:
Think about…….
Yes
Notes / Things I need to do
Class notes are given to me
What accommodations do you have
in school?
Are these helpful?
No
Yes
But then I have to enlarge them to A3 as the font is not big
enough, this takes a lot of time
You can print this out or you can save a copy to your computer and type in your answers.

Think about…….
What accommodations do you have
in school?
Are these helpful?
Are there situations where they don’t
work?
Can you think of other ways in which
studying might be made easier?
Do you use or have you tried
assistive technology?
If you have been granted exam
accommodations for LC, have you
been trained how to use these?
For example, use of a tape recorder
can be very difficult without the right
practice.
Are you aware of the range of
reasonable accommodations
available to you at college?

Are there specific accommodations
you may need associated with the
course you have chosen?
Have you discussed these with a
Disability Officer in college?
Have you visited the campus to get
an idea of physical accessibility?
