Health and social relationships / activities
Use this check list to find out skills you need to develop to stay healthy and to manage your social life.
Whilst some of these activities might seem obvious or very basic, making small mistakes can
sometimes have more serious consequences.
Knowing what to do in these circumstances will make you more confident, and less inclined to panic.

bites, stings and splinters.
Deal with a high temperature.
Find a GP / dentist and make an
appointment.
Locate the college health centre.
Understand when I might need to
go to a hospital A & E department.
Find help if I am feeling depressed,
stressed or out of control.
Avoid pressure to take drugs if
they are offered to me.
Regulate my alcohol intake when I
am out with peers.
Understand what responsible
drinking means.
