Programming may seem technical but it should also be a blast! Experience an adventure where computer characters are at your command. This Scratch programming course for kids introduces our younger students to the essential building blocks behind object-oriented programming through creating fun, interactive stories and simple games. Students let their imaginations run wild and learn programming basics with Scratch through interactive storytelling. Kids think creatively and learn how to program their own stories, games, and animations, as well as how to share their creations on the web. Take home a copy of your own game at the end of this Scratch programming class. It could be the start of something

BIG!

5. Play Date with Mrs. Ragan. Regan/Grades K-2/$50

Come hang out with Ms. Ragan for some good old-fashioned fun! We will play games, do crafts, paint, make snacks and have a blast! Each week will be a different theme to stretch your imagination, but we will always have some good oldfashioned fun together! Come join our play date! (Please note this class will have food items.)

Lessons range from learning the rules to advanced tournament strategies, depending on the children. Play time is structured to pair each student against an opponent of similar skill. All grades and skill levels are welcome. Silver Knights will supply all the equipment during chess club. Students will have the opportunity to play in tournaments.

7. Cooking "Let's Dish" Style. Hewitt and Gruden/Grades 3-5/$60

Cooking is a life-skill that not only feeds our bellies and makes merriment, but uses math and organizational skills too! It is never to early to teach students how to prepare delicious food. In this course, your student will have a great time learning cooking skills and also bring home some fully prepped meals and snacks for your family.
