defer this task to a future meeting. We may attend the A.G.M on 1st

visit. Mr. Quinlan asked to be reminded to send e-mail.

requested Council Members to get involved. He showed the latest

improvements in Lockers and Food Boxes, alleging the results to be
the Council’s doings.

to send in with our application to the I.S.S.U. Deferred to future
meeting.

mentioned. Scott Graham, 4th Year, mentioned a Pancake Tuesday
Day to sell pancakes. Lorna Devine, S.N.A, mentioned a possible
school raffle. Paul Carr, 4th Year, put forward a possible quiz. The
Council decided all three were unfeasible.

requested asking Mr. O’Brien for funds for more Student Council
Badges. Each badge costs approx. €3 excl. postage.

Council Conference will also take place in the Red Cow Hotel. This
conference is organised by the students in our schools, and will focus
strongly on student leadership. We would hope to have three students,
and a student coordinating teacher, as representatives from each of our
schools to attend this most worthwhile event.”
10. Scott Graham asked for the Mental Health Conference to be set up.
It was decided to make links with other schools and Students’ Councils.
11. The need to Regulate Council Meetings’ Times was given to us by
the Principal. At least every second meeting must be after school hours,
preferably on a Wednesday.
12. History Conference – As one of the lecturers is in London, the
conference is postponed, likely to be replaced with a 1916
commemorative project.
