1. Mrs. Leon began meeting at 7:12pm
2. Mrs. Leon went over District Powerpoint scheduling options with Coral High School
Community
o Contract Language was presented to community
o Five Step scheduling process Coral Springs High School is going through was
explained.
o The six different high school schedules were presented.
o A breakdown of the difference from the high school schedules.
 Classes/ periods per day
 Instruction time per period
 Teacher planning time
o Schedule comparison was displayed, allowing community to see the
differences side- by side.
3. Mrs. Leon was able to address questions/ concerns regarding the scheduling options.
o Research behind the schedules
o Our faculty is looking at the 4X4/ A/B Schedule
o All Coral Springs Schools are looking at scheduling options
o Amount of instruction time for our students
o Advantages/ disadvantages of the different schedules for our students
