Weather
Our seasons are changing. The mornings are
cooler with warm afternoons. Think about sending
your child to school in layers. Students do go
outside for recess, dismissal, and other times
during the day. Please make sure your child is
dressed for the weather.

Read to Succeed
Never underestimate the power of reading! Many
important life skills are developed through a child’s
ability to read, and you can help. Take 20 minutes
a night and read with your child. Allowing your
child to read to you will open the doors of
communication and make the connection from
school to home. Ask your child what was their
favorite part, character, or event. If you have
questions or concerns about your child’s reading
skills contact their teacher.
