• Clothing and hats

• No costumes, wigs, masks
• No sprays, shaving cream, funny string
• No dangerous or disruptive items

• Create a plan
– Communicate with your parents/guardians
•have a set time when you will be home
– Travel with your friends
– Plan where you are going
– Avoid large groups and strangers
– Do not go into anyone’s house

• Have your parents carefully inspect any goodies collected during
Halloween.
• Be careful of any temporary tattoos handed out.
• Do not eat candy
– Out of it’s original wrapper
– If the wrapper is old and faded
– If there is a hole or tear in the wrapper

It gets dark early
Wear light colored clothes
Carry a flashlight
Walk on the sidewalk
Avoid Sunrise Highway &
Montauk Highway

• The school year has just begun
• Concentrate on:
– Class work
– Homework
– High test scores
– Positive peer relations
– Positive teacher relations
