Learning Journey:
This week we made banana cake! Check our class page on the
website for details and photos of it! Can you write a list of ingredients for a healthy
snack?
Phonics:
How many can you find? Circle the different sounds.
Jane Bakes a Cake.

One rainy Saturday Jane baked a cake. She went all the way to the shops on her
skates.
When Jane got home she made a big cake. She put a slice on a plate and ate it.
Then Jane went outside to her pet reindeer. She gave him a plate of hay, but he did not
eat it. The reindeer did not eat any hay on Saturday, or Sunday, or Monday. Jane did
not know what to do.

Welcome to your home learning book! 
Each week you’ll get a piece of home learning to complete.
Maths and English will alternate each week.
Phonics and Topic will be each week.
There is a Phonics sounds mat to help with Spellings and a 100
square to help with any Maths learning.
Remember… your home learning book needs
looking after so make sure you keep it in a safe place!
10 minute snuggle time for reading!
Parents: Please read every day for at least 10 minutes with your
child.
Children: Can you tell someone what your book was about and
anything interesting about it?
Remember to fill in your Reading Record! 
