OFFICE FOR RESEARCH COVERSHEET is due in the Office for Research no later than 12.00
NOON, WEDNESDAY, 10 FEBRUARY, 2016.
PLEASE NOTE that NO further extensions will be given for applications beyond this date. If the
Office for Research does not receive the application together with the signed Certification Page and
Office for Research Coversheet by this due date, the application may not be submitted to the ARC.
GENERAL COMPLIANCE REQUIREMENT REGARDING THE ADDITIONAL TEXT (UPLOADED IN
PDF FORM) MUST BE AS FOLLOWS:
Black type;

white A4 size paper with at least 0.5 cm margin on each side and at top and bottom.
The text MUST be size 12 Times New Roman or an equivalent size BEFORE converting to PDF
format and must be legible to assessors. Otherwise, a highly legible font type must be used: ARIAL,
COURIER, PALATINO, and HELVETICA subject to them being an equivalent sized font to 12 point
Times New Roman, only references can be in 10 fonts. Please refer to page 32 of the “Instructions to
Applicants” for further information.
IMPORTANT - If the ARC considers that a Proposal is incomplete, inaccurate or contains false
or misleading information, the ARC may in its absolute discretion decide to recommend that
the Proposal not be approved for funding.

Ensure that each CI and PI has populated their
Personal Profile section in RMS, the details in the
Personal Profile will be auto-generated into the
relevant sections of the application for each
question where this information is required.

There is now 2 parts to this question, one relates to
ARC proposals and other relates to Non-ARC
sources. Templates have been provided on page
26 “Instructions to Applicants”. This information is
to be provided in two separate tables one ARC the
other non-ARC
Ensure that all progress reports listed in F16 are
provided, including ARC reports of which the final
report has not yet been submitted to the ARC at the
time of submission of the proposal for all CI’ or PI
involved on any ARC project.
