Welcome Back
I would like to officially welcome everyone
back! Where did the summer vacation go?
2015, I know you are all excited and cannot
wait to get into your studies, college visits,
ACT, prom, class day, and the BIG ONE!

ROW~ Reading on Wednesday
Reading on Wednesday is back! I knew the
Seniors could not wait. Parents you are all
invited to volunteer with MBA. Come read
your favorite book! Bring a blanket too!
In Row, Seniors will be able to fill out
college applications, we’ve already applied
to Dr. Clark’s Alma Mater Dillard University!
Seniors will also apply for scholarships, hear
from college recruiters, as well as READ!
Senior News…..
We have added the Execs Newsletter to keep
parents informed and updated on Senior
information. The newsletter will go out on a
monthly basis.
The Seniors all have their personal mailboxes
located in the high school front lobby. The
Execs will have information pertaining to
college visits, fees due, ACT prep sessions,
testing dates and locations, scholarships, and
any other pertinent information.

More Senior News…..
Parents we will be prepping Seniors for
the ACT. Mr. Bledsoe, our newest
colleague at MBA is a Kaplan Scholar
and an EXECellent tutor! Let’s welcome
him to our school. Also, more ACT prep
is being included in their English, Math,
and Science classes.
Parents please be sure you and your
Senior Exec read the Senior contract as
well as the Student Handbook. There
have been updates for the new year.

On Wednesday, September
10th at 5:45pm, we are having a
Rally just for our Seniors and
their Parents/Guardians
Information about MBA plans for
trips, college and scholarship
searches, ACT prep, and more will be
discussed
Also, the first progress report of the
year comes out this day.
