Careers – Parental Help Required
At the end of the summer term, the Careers departments of SHS and SS run a
joint mock interview programme for Y12 pupils, to develop the interview skills
needed for both employment and university. Letter
Business Trip to New York: Tuesday 3rd March at 6:30pm in
Beaufort, B11.
There is an information evening for all students and parents next week.
It is important that a representative of your son/daughter attends as valuable travel
information will be given along with all other fine details of the trip.
Please bring with you a copy of your son / daughter’s passport and a
paper copy of their ESTA (if it has not already been submitted). It is
imperative these documents are held by Mrs Child when travelling. Also, if any
spare medication is required please see Mrs Child at the end of the evening.

Following some recent complaints from The William Cecil Hotel, please may we
remind students and parents that The William Cecil is private property and SES
pupils must not park there. There is plenty of space in the Nursery Car Park
reserved for 6th formers.

Severe Weather Information
The policy of the Stamford Endowed Schools to remain open and to maintain normal hours in such
eventualities. It is of course permissible for your son or daughter to remain at home should you feel that
it is not safe to make the journey to School. Should you be unable to collect your child from School once
they are already here because the weather has deteriorated, then the School will continue to look after
them.
If your child uses School transport, please visit the News section of our website (www.ses.lincs.sch.uk) for
information on the running of bus services. Any disruption to the bus service will be listed early in the
morning; if nothing is posted then you may assume the buses are running as usual.
