In order to make the most of the day, we ask you to adhere to the following
instructions with respect to your presentations and pre-meeting provision of
information:
1) Ensure you keep to the time allocated (10 mins presentation + 5 for questions)
2) We will compile a series of comparative information from all the institutes
based on you providing us, by 30th September, with the following information:
a. Who is the primary audience of the training you provide?
b. What are the top 5 topics this training covers?
c. Who funds the workshops/courses?
d. How long are the courses?
e. What model do you follow (e.g. residential, online?)
f. How do you identify the training needs of your audience?
g. What is the biggest challenge you face and how can BBHub help to
overcome this?
h. What is your wish for the BBHub’s future development?
i. Numbers (average per year):
i. How many courses do you run?
ii. How many people have you trained?
iii. What’s their geographical distribution (please include country of
residence and nationality where possible)?
iv. Where do your trainers come from?
3) Ensure you test and complete the hands on task we will send you separately for
the BBHub website. To ensure we use this time as efficiently as possible we
need you all to have tried out the functionalities on the BBHub resource and
start gathering your reflections. Be ready to share these at the meeting and we
can pinpoint specific action points at the actual meeting in November.
We are looking forward to welcoming you at TGAC and working together to maximise
our efforts, share experiences and best practice and together bring recognition to
training and our activities in these area collectively!
Best wishes,
Vicky Schneider
