Associate Researcher - Marketline
MarketLine, part of the international Informa Group, has several exciting opportunities for
recent graduates looking to develop their careers within commercial research as Associate
Researchers. In these roles, you will produce a variety of high quality research and industry
reports across all industry verticals. You will have the opportunity to develop your research
and analysis skills and make significant contributions to our output of industry reports, as
well as contributing to consultancy research projects as required.
MarketLine provides comprehensive and exclusive company, industry and country
information extending across all continents and every major industry vertical. As a premium
business information provider, we have one main goal – to supply our clients with timely
expert analysis on key business issues critical to their market. This role will focus on
producing Industry Profiles, which offer our clients a quick and reliable way to retrieve data
and forecast information on key industrial and consumer sectors across the world's leading
economies. This is a great opportunity for a graduate Research Associate looking to join a
market-leading brand and develop their commercial research skills.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
 Research and analysis: use research and analysis techniques to locate market data
and present future-focused opinion.
 Produce high quality output: develop high quality content in the forms of case
studies and reports, ensuring that all work complies with MarketLine’s high
standards of delivery.
 Product and process improvements: work with the wider research team to identify
and implement improvements to working processes and output.
 Develop industry and country knowledge: research and monitor major economic
and political events that could affect our markets, building your knowledge of any
factors relevant to industry dynamics.
SKILLS REQUIRED:
•
2.1 degree or equivalent ideally in an economics or research focused discipline
•
Good understanding of research & analysis techniques
•
Strong written, verbal and graphical skills
•
Ability to critically evaluate own and others’ work in a constructive manner.
•
Ability to manage own time and workload effectively.
•
Familiarity with MS Office applications, especially with Word and Excel
